Principles and Photography Style
Photography is a powerful way to communicate our unique brand identity. INSEAD’s distinctive style visually brings together people, cultures and ideas, directly reflecting our mission statement
INSEAD’s style is contemporary, light and dynamic. The images you choose should be compelling and reflective of the energy that drives INSEAD and all of our activities. One way to achieve a strong look is to use single-focus compositions that hold the foreground or subject in sharp focus, while allowing the background to soften or to appear out of focus. Avoid using images that are busy, too complicated, out of focus, low resolution or too darkly lit.
Look beyond the straightforward and typical to find a more interesting perspective. Consider detail or unusual angles to create more compelling communications. Portraits should feel light and optimistic – the person being photographed should be comfortable, exude warmth and look like they are in their natural environment.
Institutional Photo Collection
This collection is a curated selection of photographs selected for a variety of uses, from presentations to publications. These images reflect the richness of life at INSEAD covering a wide range of subjects including campus life, academics, leadership, diversity, and innovation across all four of our locations: Fontainebleau, Singapore, Abu Dhabi and San Francisco.
Download and use them in your communications, ensuring they reflect the tone and values of the INSEAD brand.
