What is an INSEAD alumni login and what can I access with it?

Your alumni login is your personal gateway to the INSEAD Alumni Portal, MyINSEAD. With your alumni account, you can access your INSEAD email, update your Profile, view the Alumni Directory, manage your Alumni Association membership, explore the calendar of events, and take advantage of Lifelong Learning and Career Resources.

I cannot remember my username and password. What do I do?

Your INSEAD login is your INSEAD email ([email protected]), assigned during your programme.

Forgot your password? Reset it here: https://www.insead.edu/it/passwordmanagement. A security code will be sent to your non-INSEAD recovery email. You’ll need this to complete your password reset.

If you need both your username and password for your account, please contact [email protected]. You will have to answer a series of verification questions, and once your submission is processed, we will be in touch to provide you with your username and details to reset your password.

For technical assistance, please contact our 24/7 service desk at [email protected]. Still have questions? Contact our Alumni Relations Office for personalised support.

What is Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)? Why is it important and how do I set it up?

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) adds an extra layer of security to your account by requiring a second form of verification — such as a phone number or authentication app — in addition to your password.

Why use MFA?

  • Prevents unauthorized access even if your password is compromised.
  • Reduces security risks, as over 90% of breaches involve stolen credentials.

Enabling MFA ensures your INSEAD account stays secure and protected. For setup instructions, please visit this page.

Who can access the Alumni Directory?

INSEAD offers a range of alumni services through its Alumni Website, MyINSEAD to support the INSEAD community. The INSEAD Alumni Directory is an exclusive resource available through MyINSEAD. Access is protected by your INSEAD login credentials (username and password).

To access the online alumni directory, simply login to MyINSEAD and click on the ‘Directory’ tab on the navigation bar at the top of the page. Using the filters on the left of the page, you can further refine your search results.

In instances where your search returns no results, there are several reasons why someone might not appear in your search results. They could have set their Alumni Directory profile to private, or they might have updated their name or other personal details.

Alumni are typically receptive to requests for guidance from fellow alumni, whether through a brief email or a thoughtful LinkedIn message. When reaching out, consider:

  •      Introducing yourself and explaining why you’re contacting them.
  •     Mentioning specific aspects of their experience you’d like to learn about.
  •     Requesting a short conversation at their convenience.

Avoid asking for a job, internship, or referral upfront — focus on building a meaningful connection first.

What are the guidelines for using the Alumni Directory?

The INSEAD Alumni Directory is a valuable resource for staying connected, expanding your network, and engaging with the alumni community. To maintain a respectful and productive environment, please follow these guidelines when using alumni information.

Alumni should use the directory for personal and professional networking in alignment with INSEAD’s community values. This includes:

✔ Connecting with classmates and fellow alumni

✔ Seeking industry insights or career advice

✔ Reaching out for mentorship or knowledge-sharing

The directory should not be used for:

✘ Mass communications and bulk outreach

✘ Commercial marketing, fundraising, or promotional purposes

✘ Unsolicited job offers, investment pitches or direct solicitations

Always approach alumni with respect, provide context when reaching out, and honor their privacy preferences. Alumni are advised to review the INSEAD Alumni Code of Conduct, for the expected guidelines for use, before accessing its Services.
