The Finance area is committed to producing first class theoretical and empirical research, while maintaining teaching quality and entrepreneurial spirit in the development of new teaching programmes.
Our goal is to be innovative in developing a truly international group with no dominant national culture.
The Finance area group consists of 18 resident faculty members, 11 residing in Fontainebleau, and 7 residing in Singapore, who regularly teach cross-campus.
We run an active seminar series, inviting scholars from around the world. We also devote significant resources to an internationally recognized PhD Programme.
INSEAD’s Finance Department invites applications for faculty positions at all levels (assistant, associate and full) on both Fontainebleau and Singapore campuses. The search is for full-time, tenure track positions starting September 2023.
Candidates should have a strong commitment to produce the highest quality research, publishable in top academic journals and they should demonstrate the ability to teach at the MBA and PhD levels. They must have a PhD in Finance, Economics or related disciplines, or expect to complete all requirements for a PhD during the current academic year. Applicants as Associate/Full Professors should have demonstrated research and teaching excellence.
In general we will interview selected applicants via Zoom but in case of time constraints we are open for in person interviews in New Orleans.
Applications should include a cover letter, a complete CV, three letters of recommendation and recent publications/working papers. Please also specify whether you are interested in Fontainebleau, Singapore or both and whether you will be attending the AFA meetings. Please submit your application here by 30 November 2022 to ensure full consideration. If you need any information please contact us at [email protected].
