Finance

The Finance area is committed to producing first class theoretical and empirical research, while maintaining teaching quality and entrepreneurial spirit in the development of new teaching programmes.
Our goal is to be innovative in developing a truly international group with no dominant national culture.
The Finance area group consists of 20 resident faculty members, 13 residing in Fontainebleau and seven residing in Singapore, who regularly teach on both campuses.
We run an active seminar series, inviting scholars from around the world. We also devote significant resources to an internationally recognized PhD Programme.

Faculty Recruitment

INSEAD’s Finance Department invites applications for faculty positions at all levels (assistant, associate and full) on both Fontainebleau and Singapore campuses. The search is for several full-time, tenure track positions starting September 2017. All areas of Finance will be considered.

Candidates should have a strong commitment to produce the highest quality research, publishable in top academic journals and they should demonstrate the ability to teach at the MBA and Ph.D. levels. They must have a Ph.D. in Finance, Economics or related disciplines, or expect to complete all requirements for a Ph.D. during the current academic year. Applicants as Associate/Full Professors should have demonstrated research and teaching excellence.

We will be interviewing applicants at the AFA meetings in Chicago and look forward to receiving applications.

Applications should include a cover letter, a complete CV, three letters of recommendation and recent publications/working papers. To ensure full consideration the package should be sent electronically to insead.FIN-area@insead.edu (contact: Sharon Horry – phone: +33 1 6072 4263) before November 24, 2016.

The Finance Department consists of 19 resident faculty members, 10 residing in Fontainebleau and 8 residing in Singapore, all of whom teach regularly on both campuses. The department is committed to producing first class theoretical and empirical research, while maintaining teaching relevance and quality and a spirit of enterprise in the development of new programmes.

As one of the world's leading and largest graduate business schools, INSEAD brings together people, cultures and ideas to change lives and to transform organisations. A global perspective and cultural diversity are reflected in all aspects of our research and teaching. With campuses in Europe (France), Asia (Singapore) and Abu Dhabi, INSEAD's business education and research spans three continents. Our 145 renowned Faculty members from 40 countries inspire more than 1,300 degree participants annually in our MBA, Executive MBA, specialised master's degrees (Master in Finance, Executive Master in Consulting and Coaching for Change) and PhD programmes. In addition, more than 9,500 executives participate in INSEAD's Executive Education programmes each year.
