INSEAD Alumni Forum 2026
Welcome
Leadership, Balance and Disruption in a New Era
Join us on 15–16 May 2026 in Oslo, a city where dramatic landscapes meet bold innovation. Oslo and Norway, today, offer a compelling vantage point from which to view the way the world navigates complex disruptions and seize opportunities for transformation.
Rooted in an oil-rich present yet forging a future in clean energy, Norway offers a living laboratory of energy transition. It also reflects broader shifts in business models and value creation, where legacy industries are being reimagined through the lens of sustainability, innovation, and resilience. Against this backdrop, we will explore how leaders across sectors are recalibrating strategies, embracing uncertainty, and driving impact in an era where the old rules are being rewritten.
Together, we will examine how geopolitical shifts and global risks are reshaping power dynamics on the world stage. We’ll explore the evolving energy equation, where legacy oil producers and clean tech pioneers alike must navigate a volatile, fast-changing landscape. As artificial intelligence redefines the boundaries of innovation and influence, we’ll consider what it means to lead in a world increasingly driven by data, automation, and intelligent systems.
And throughout, we will ask how leaders and businesses can foster resilience and responsibility, building adaptive models to respond to technological, ecological and economic disruption.
Join a global community of alumni, business leaders, policymakers, and academics in Oslo as we chart a path toward a more resilient, inclusive, and forward-looking future.

INDEVOR - Alumni Business & Sustainability Summit in Oslo
-
Sustainability in a New Era: How Radical Materiality Sharpens Focus Amid AI and Geopolitics – INDEVOR’s luncheon workshop before INSEAD’s Oslo Alumni Forum.
Time: May 15 (Friday) 12:00-13:30
Venue: BCG Oslo Office: Henrik Ibsens Gate 4, 0255 Oslo, Norway. - REGISTER HERE
The global backlash against sustainability is often framed as a retreat. This year’s Business and Sustainability Summit explores a different view: that heightened scrutiny is pushing boards – and the companies they oversee – to refocus on what truly matters for long-term value creation. We will examine how radical materiality cuts through the noise, sharpens strategic priorities, and helps leaders navigate sustainability alongside other defining forces such as AI and geopolitics. Drawing on insights from a multi-year collaboration between INSEAD, BCG, and Heidrick & Struggles on the evolving role of the board, this interactive session will combine research findings with a dynamic panel discussion and active participant engagement. [2 more panellists TBC].
Join INDEVOR Meet Up Tables at Oslo Alumni Forum on May 16th: Look for fellow INDEVOR members on Saturday, May 16th at our lunchtime meet-up tables at the Alumni Forum, where we’ll announce our 2026 Community Impact Challenge!

Executive Master of Change Global Club Event | Oslo | 14 May 2026
The Mastering Change Global Club invites you to a full-day event in Oslo exploring the psychodynamic impact of AI on organizations, leadership, and the self.
Led by Professor Michael Jarrett and Professor Saskia de Maat, Programme Directors of the INSEAD Executive Master in Change, the day will examine how AI-driven transformation is reshaping organisations and challenging traditional notions of authority, expertise, and identity.
Through presentations, discussions, and group activities, participants will explore questions such as:
- How do organisations defend against the anxiety of AI-driven change?
- What happens to authority and expertise when knowledge becomes machine-augmented?
- How is AI reshaping our sense of self and relationships at work?
The event will also feature contributions from Kristin Skogen Lund MBA'92J (Chair, INSEAD Board of Directors) and Laurence Barrett (EMC Supervisor), as well as perspectives from EMC alumni applying systems-psychodynamic insights in their work.
Held the day before the INSEAD Alumni Forum (15–16 May), this event offers a valuable opportunity to reconnect with the EMC community and reflect deeply on leading change in the age of AI.
Early bird registration is open until 20 March.
