Transition to General Management

The INSEAD Transition to General Management programme is a four-week, immersive general management programme for experienced senior functional and technical managers who are preparing to move into - or have recently stepped into - a general management role.

Delivered in two two-week modules, the programme combines rigorous business foundations with leadership development to help participants move beyond their functional expertise and develop an integrated view of the organisation.

You will build capabilities across finance, strategy, marketing, operations, technology, AI and the global economy while developing the judgement and leadership skills required to make decisions across functions, manage competing priorities and create long-term organisational value.

Participants typically have at least eight years of management experience and a strong track record within one or more specialist areas.
