What types of gifts can I leave to INSEAD in my will?

While gift vehicles can vary from country to country, alumni can choose to give a fixed sum, a percentage of their estate, name INSEAD as a beneficiary of an investment account or life assurance account or leave a gift of property, shares or other securities.

What do Legacy Giving donors usually give towards?

Legacy donors give towards towards many different opportunities at INSEAD including:
- Donor endowed funds like INSEAD's general endowment or endowed scholarships (either new or existing funds)
- Facilities
- Research

Will my bequest to INSEAD benefit from tax relief for my estate?

Bequests to INSEAD are eligible for tax relief in jurisdictions where INSEAD can provide tax deductions. Depending on your circumstances, a legacy gift can help to offset taxes on your estate, and not take anything away from your heirs.

Why does INSEAD recommend seeking professional advice when considering a legacy gift?

Everyone’s circumstances are different, and laws change from time to time. A financial or legal advisor can give you the best advice for your particular situation and how to structure your gift to the benefit of your estate.
