Upcoming Sessions
From management to leadership
The demands placed on today’s managers of teams are intense. No matter how impeccable their technical skills – whether in their own function or business in general – they are constantly asked to get more out of their teams. Even in the comparatively early-career stage, there is pressure not just to manage but also to lead impactfully beyond their formal role.
The High Impact Leadership Programme provides managers with the tools and processes needed to meet their organisation’s leadership challenges. Over five days, participants explore both ‘macro’ and 'micro' issues – from organisational structures, incentives and informal networks to managing performance and using feedback to enhance personal professional growth.
Key learning concepts in the programme curriculum
The High Impact Leadership Programme focuses on three key pillars that early-career leaders need: understanding organisations, developing leadership skills, and creating and leading effective teams. Participants gain insights into organisational dynamics, including structure, culture, and behaviour, to influence decisions and outcomes beyond your immediate team.
This in-person programme includes hands-on workshops for self-awareness, skill development, and immediate implementation of learning through on-campus coaching sessions and live discussion with peers.
Additionally, participants learn to manage internal group processes and talent development, and external sources for support and knowledge. Each participant leaves with a personalised action plan, supported by post-programme follow-up with dedicated coaches.

-
-
What is high impact leadership at an early‑career stage?
-
High impact leadership at an early‑career stage focuses on how emerging leaders influence others, build credibility, and take responsibility beyond their formal role. It is about developing the self‑awareness, communication, and interpersonal skills required to lead effectively as responsibilities increase.
-
Why is leadership impact relevant for professionals with 3–6 years’ experience?
-
As professionals progress early in their careers, they are often asked to lead projects, influence peers, or manage others for the first time. This transition can be challenging, as technical expertise alone is no longer sufficient. Developing leadership impact early helps individuals build strong foundations for future roles.
-
How is this programme different from INSEAD Learning to Lead programme?
-
The Learning to Lead programme focuses on the transition into first‑time leadership and managing a direct team. The High Impact Leadership Programme is designed for professionals with 3-6 years of experience who are ready to lead across teams, influence peers, and engage with the wider organisation.
This programme qualifies for the INSEAD Certificate in Global Management.
The certificate is a formal recognition in areas of global management and leadership. Please refer to the certification requirements here.
