Our diversity is our distinguishing feature. INSEAD is probably the only school where you will find 30 nationalities in the same class. Just like our face-to-face programmes, this programme will include participants from all industry backgrounds and nationalities, with one common thread binding them together – a goal to learn about the topics being discussed, interact with fellow participants to acquire a global perspective and develop tools to take back and apply to their everyday work.

With so many different national and cultural perspectives to learn from, you really will start to see things differently. By challenging your old assumptions, you will become aware of new possibilities and start to understand how very different people think.

Why should I do a General Management Programme?

INSEAD’s world-class, comprehensive business leadership General Management Programmes will equip you with the skills, knowledge and the confidence to achieve a successful transition on your journey to becoming a great business leader. Created and delivered by some of the world’s best faculty, each one of these programmes will challenge assumptions and enhance leadership skills, delivering a broader vision to both you and your organisation. Depending on your level and experience, we offer the Advanced Management Programme, Transition to General Management, Management Acceleration Programme and the Leading Business Transformation in Asia programme.

Do I have to attend the sessions on my own area of expertise?

Absolutely. First, you might gain a new perspective on your field. And second, you will have the valuable experience of passing on your expertise to classmates from other disciplines. It is by sharing insights that people learn at INSEAD, as well as by listening to the wisdom of our faculty of course.

Why should I choose INSEAD above other business schools?

We think our diversity is our distinguishing feature. INSEAD is probably the only school where you will find 30 nationalities in the same class. And it is certainly the only school where no nationality will predominate. Our faculty are among the best (and most diverse) in the world too.

Is the emphasis on people and leadership skills or business knowledge, tools and frameworks?

To be successful in business you need to balance your people and leadership skills with your fundamental business understanding. So the programme seeks to enhance your understanding across the full business spectrum, while also developing your leadership capabilities. It is such an integrated programme that people and leadership skills and business knowledge are intertwined and built together.

Why is diversity so important?

The obvious answer is that business is more international than ever before. But the more subtle answer to this question is even more convincing. With so many different national and cultural perspectives to learn from, you really will start to see things differently. By challenging your old assumptions, you will become aware of new possibilities and start to understand how very different people think.

What does the coaching involve?

A unique, hands-on leadership development workshop in the first week will give you a chance to examine how your history and aspirations – in addition to the context you operate in – affect the ways you feel, think and act as a leader. It will reveal how you lead and work with others and how you can grow further, as well as challenging you to articulate your leadership purpose and move towards it. This intensive part of the programme involves a series of activities and reflection, both individual and group-based, facilitated by professional coaches. You will have a chance to practise your leadership skills and receive feedback from classmates and colleagues from work through a 360-degree feedback instrument.

How do I know that this General Management Programme is right for me?

It is all about the amount of experience you have and the stage you are at in your career. Management Acceleration Programme participants generally have approximately five years' work experience and the potential for future senior management positions. If you would like to compare the Management Acceleration Programme with the other general management options, take a look at our easy-to use table.

So what do I do next?

If you are talented, motivated, ambitious and hungry to learn, the next step is to apply and, if accepted, to attend. Later on, if you need INSEAD again, for the transition into general management or an even more senior post, we will be there for you and your company. But for now, let’s concentrate on accelerating your management career.

How do I know this general management programme is right for me?

Advanced Management Programme participants have at least twelve years’ management experience, with at least five years in a general management position involving clear cross-functional and P&L responsibility.

How do I know that this General Management programme is right for me?

It is all about the amount of experience you have and the stage you are at in your career. Transition to General Management participants generally have extensive management experience (eight to ten years), and are making the transition from functional to general management. If you would like to compare the Transition to General Management programme with the other general management options, take a look at our easy-to-use table. We also strongly encourage you to get in touch with Frédérique Arlaux to discuss the various options in relation to your specific needs and abilities.

What does the coaching involve?

With the support of clinically trained coaches from INSEAD’s Global Leadership Centre, you will receive 360° feedback from colleagues, friends and family – and above all your fellow participants. INSEAD’s unique group coaching approach will help you to build on your strengths and address your weaknesses, enabling you not only to motivate others but to spearhead change.

We think our diversity is our distinguishing feature. INSEAD is probably the only school where you will find 30 nationalities in the same class. And it is certainly the only school where no nationality will predominate. Our faculty are among the best (and most diverse) in the world too.

Two modules of two weeks seems like a big commitment – can I afford so much time away?

In fact, you need these two modules to gain the distance required for reflection on your work and yourself. Our faculty also need that time to cover the ambitious curriculum. More importantly you need these two modules to go through the uniquely INSEAD process of 'unlearning' and then 'relearning' about business from an entirely different angle. The programme runs four times a year to accommodate even the most hectic schedule.

By challenging your old assumptions, you will become aware of new possibilities and start to understand how very different people think.

Can I choose to participate in more than one location?

Recognising the needs and diverse locations of many senior executives, the Transition to General Management programme allows participants to complete their two modules of two weeks on either the Fontainebleau (France) campus, or Fontainebleau and Singapore campuses. Alternatively, we now offer the programme in Fontainebleau and San Francisco.

What instructions should I leave my colleagues for contacting me during the programme?

Please ask them not to disturb you, unless there is an emergency. Calls and emails are distractions from the Advanced Management Programme’s intensive learning process. Those who disconnect themselves most effectively are generally those who learn most – and return with most to give to their organisations. Your colleagues and direct reports have much to gain from coping without you too.

Can I complete the programme if I am currently transitioning from one position to another?

You will be required to identify a specific challenge you face in your current role and then go through a structured process to reflect on it. This challenge will become a unifying thread that runs through the entire programme. We would therefore advise you to speak to a programme advisor to discuss whether your transition and objectives are suitable.

Four weeks on campus seems like a big commitment – can I afford so much time away?

In fact, you need those four weeks to gain the distance for reflection on your work and yourself. During this intense and challenging time, you will have a rare opportunity to develop a focused plan for your future – at work and in life. If you take all this into account, four weeks begins to look like a small investment with enormous returns, not just for you but also for your team and your organisation.

Will there be coaching during the programme?

The Advanced Management Programme is so much more than a four-week educational experience. It is designed to be a learning journey that lasts a lifetime.

Upon successful completion of the programme, participants have the opportunity to engage in optional follow-up coaching. The optional coaching sessions help continue the process of reflection that began whilst on campus, deepening your ongoing learning and personal development once you return to the workplace.

Through this coaching, you will be further helped to evolve your strategic vision and plan of action.

What is the content of the programme and will there be case studies?

The programme is a complete general management programme meaning that the content covers all aspects of leadership for senior executives - including deep self-awareness. The content of the programme is organised into four phases: mega-trends, stakeholders, organisation and processes, and people. Interactive case studies are just one element of the learning process, which also includes reflection groups, 360° feedback, coaching, traditional lectures and simulations.

Is there a constraint on size of business or business unit, or on hierarchical level?

There are a few guidelines that the Programme Director applies in reviewing applications. The intrinsic quality of the applicant – and their potential contribution to the learning environment – also matter a lot. Businesses or business units ought to have a minimum turnover of $30 million and the candidates ought to be CEO or MD. For businesses exceeding $100 million, the candidates can be members of the executive leadership team, maybe one level away from CEO or MD. For companies with turnovers exceeding several $100 million, they might be two levels away, and for businesses exceeding several billion, those who are four levels away can have suitable experience for acceptance.

Can I bring my partner to INSEAD? Or can I return home at weekends?

The programme is built on the assumption that you will be present during the four weeks without your partner or other family members. Courses, reflection sessions and other activities are often scheduled in the evening. We assume that other evenings are available to complete programme work or to engage in social activities with fellow participants. Previous participants have found that the presence of family members invariably affects their experience and, at times, has been frustrating for both participants and their families.

What can I expect to change after the Advanced Management Programme?

The Advanced Management Programme takes you through a reflective process that enables you to understand fully the way in which you develop and exercise your judgement. The new perspectives gained from faculty and your peers will change your approach to the challenges you face. At the end of the programme, you will have a selection of new ideas and solutions, and will return to the office with a clear strategic plan. Facilitated by INSEAD’s alumni network and online platforms, you will also have a much broader network of international colleagues that you can call upon for future business challenges.

Who are the typical participants from previous sessions?

Participants typically include senior executives such as CEOs, COOs, CFOs and heads of product divisions, geographical regions or other major business units within the private or public sectors.

Classes typically consist of participants drawn from +30 nationalities. It is this diversity which creates the unique environment at INSEAD, and enriches participants’ learning experience.

What is the proportion of participants with marketing knowledge?

Participants on the Strategic Marketing Programme will possess marketing knowledge, however their experience is more varied as it welcomes  executives with, or about to take up, marketing responsibilities and those executives outside the marketing discipline whose role interacts with this function.

Why should I do a General Management Programme?

INSEAD’s world-class, comprehensive General Management Programmes will equip you with the skills, knowledge and confidence to achieve a successful transition on your journey to becoming a successful business leader. Created and delivered by some of the world’s best faculty, each one of these programmes will challenge assumptions and enhance leadership skills, delivering a broader vision to both you and your organisation. Depending on your level and experience, we offer the Advanced Management Programme, Transition to General Management, Management Acceleration Programme and the Asian International Executive Programme.

Why should I choose INSEAD above other business schools?

We think our diversity is what makes us different – and better, especially for participants who wish to prepare for a very turbulent and challenging international arena. INSEAD is certainly the only school where no single culture dominates. INSEAD also has 40 years’ experience of educating top executives. The Advanced Management Programme is an example of ‘our very best practice’ providing participants with an intense yet full general-management experience.

What exactly does the selection process entail?

It is important for all participants that the programme brings together people with an adequate level of general-management experience, professional expertise and business responsibility. The Programme Director personally reviews every application, taking into account the set guidelines, the intrinsic quality of the applicant and his or her potential contribution to the learning environment.

What is the difference between the M&A Programme and Managing Partnerships and Strategic Alliances?

Managing Partnerships and Strategic Alliances programme focuses on deepening your understanding of the strategic foundation, the governance structure and the dynamics of the collaborative process. M&A programme focuses on portfolio growth and restructuring.

Is post-merger integration covered?

Yes. There will be an extensive discussion of the tension between absorption and autonomy that exists in any post-merger integration process.

Do I need a finance background to get into the programme?

The programme requires participants to have  a relatively advanced foundation in finance.

Do I need prior experience in M&As to attend the programme?

Yes. The programme is designed for decision makers like CEOs, general managers, senior executives, board members and those responsible for corporate strategy. Participants also include M&A heads, development officers and advisors like lawyers concerned with M&A deals.

When is the next session or start date for the Certificate?

The start date depends on which programme you choose from the list of online programmes eligible for our four online certificates. For the Online Certificate in Innovation, Digital Transformation or Business Essentials, you need to complete 3 online programmes (1 core online strategy programme, 1 core online leadership programmes, and 1 online elective programme) to be eligible for a certificate.

For the Online Certificate in Negotiation you need to complete Negotiation Fundamentals, Strategic Negotiations and Advanced Negotiations - in this sequence - to be eligible for the certificate.

The INSEAD Certificate in Corporate Governance offers an opportunity for directors to prove – and improve – their effectiveness and excellence. It is designed to be a global credential for board members operating internationally – one of the first of its kind offered by an academic institution. The certificate attests to a director’s commitment to continuously develop her or his effectiveness and excellence, by applying and building upon the skills and knowledge acquired through successful attendance of the International Directors Programme.

Upon successful completion of the programme, participants can apply for the certificate. The Certificate requires that participants write a paper to prove not only that they have acquired the skills but also that they are able to apply them – and reflect on this application.  That’s the “continuous learning” we like participants to leave the programme with, and the Certification paper is a concrete exercise to induce such an attitude.

Obtaining the Certificate in Global Management is a culmination of completing a series of programmes within 4 years. For further information on programme dates, you can access the full list here.

Tax Regulations

French VAT

According to French tax regulations, face-to-face (i.e. in person) programmes of less than 8 consecutive working days delivered in France are considered as educational events under Article 53 of the VAT Directive 2006/112. As a result they are taxable at the place where these events take place, i.e. in France, and these programmes are therefore subject to French VAT at a 20% rate, even when invoiced to foreign companies.

If your business is registered in another European Union member state, your entity should be able to apply for a refund through your own country’s tax portal. A valid VAT number still needs to be provided.

If your business is registered outside of the European Union, your entity may claim a VAT refund – however it should appoint a tax representative in France that will apply through the portal of the French tax authorities. Please contact your local tax advisor to handle the VAT refund procedure.

More information can be found on the following link: https://ec.europa.eu/taxation_customs/business/vat/eu-vat-rules-topic/vat-refunds_en

Singaporean GST

For programmes invoiced from Singapore, GST applies unless a “GST letter” is completed and signed. Please note that for Singaporean clients, GST always applies.

Abu Dhabi VAT

For programmes invoiced from Abu Dhabi, VAT applies unless a “Client Residency Declaration” is completed and signed. Please note that for Abu Dhabi clients, VAT always applies.

Other tax considerations

INSEAD may also have to invoice a higher amount than the one listed, to take into account any withholding tax or indirect tax applying to the payment, in accordance with the client’s local legislation.

Please note that INSEAD is not qualified to give any tax advice to its clients, and the comments provided here are purely informative, they cannot be considered as tax or legal advice. For any confirmation on your rights and obligations under existing tax laws, we invite you to contact your local authorities or your tax advisor.

Payment Process

Developing Emerging Leaders is designed to help emerging leaders adapt to the challenges faced by organisations in a fast-paced digital environment. It will equip you with the skills needed to lead yourself – and then translate that knowledge into leading others and forming effective team collaborations in the digital age.

The programme is designed for:

  • Professionals across industries who are progressing from being in an individual contributor role to leading a team of individual performers
  • Emerging leaders who are having to adapt to the demands of managing people and forming collaborations in a fast-changing digital environment

Comment savoir si le programme me convient ?

What is the maximum number of participants that my company can send for a session?

We do not encourage participants from the same company in the same session unless the senior executives belong to different divisions.

How is the programme structured within those three days?

It's a very intensive rpogramme. The first day focuses on the fundamentals of any strategy, the second day allows full applicatioon of this strategy and the last day tackles strategic issues.

I am a general manager, is this programme good for me?

Yes. This programme is designed for senior executives making business significant decisions for their organisation. Your peers in class will be general managers, heads of divisions and profit centre managers. Senior executives whose job it is to increase and direct their organisation’s sustainability-related activities as also welcomed.

Do I need prior experience in Partnerships and Alliances to attend the programme?

Yes. The programme is designed for senior line managers and executives directly involved in running collaborative efforts and making the key decisions surrounding alliances and partnerships.

Will there be coaching on the programme?

During the programme, participants go through a Board Process Simulation, where they are assigned different roles on a board of a disguised real company. In addition to that, there is a 360 Degree assessment - a tool which enables leaders to compare their self-perceptions with the observations of colleagues who know them well.

How can I stay in contact with INSEAD after the programme?

The INSEAD Corporate Governance Centre (ICGC) holds events such as the INSEAD Directors Forum on a regular basis as an opportunity to meet, share experiences, and connect with the faculty on the latest developments.

On-demand Programme

What is an on-demand programme?

On-demand means the programme is open all year round with no specific session dates. The learning content is available to participants from the start and there is no specific end date (completion within 3 months). Therefore, participants can set a learning pace that suits them best.

How long do I have to complete the on-demand programme?

Participants will have access to the programme content for 3 months during which completion of all learning modules is necessary in order to receive a Certificate of Completion.

Will I have an opportunity to interact with INSEAD faculty and other programme participants?

As the programme is on-demand there are no live interactions.

Learning Experience

How much time should I expect to dedicate to the programme every week?

The programme should take approximately 4-6 hours, and potentially may entail up to 2 additional hours/week to complete Action Learning Projects (ALPs). You can expect to devote 1-2 hours per week watching video lectures on fundamental concepts, 1 hour per week on interacting with fellow participants in discussions or reflecting on the concepts through quizzes and reflections, and 2-3 hours per week in applying the fundamental concepts in an ALP to understand their relevance to your everyday work.

How much time should I expect to dedicate to the programme every week?

The programme should take approximately 4-6 hours/week, and potentially may entail up to 2 additional hours/week to complete other assignments such as role plays.

What is the weekly learning rhythm during the programme?

The programme is designed in a manner to encourage the whole class to learn together, moving at a certain pace from week to week, while providing enough flexibility within each week for the participants to review the content at their own convenience.
Each week of content is released on a Friday and you have two weeks to complete reviewing the content of a particular week.

Do I need to be online at specific times during the programme, or can I learn ahead of the rest of the class?

While a week is open, you can log in anytime at your convenience and review the weekly content at your own pace, as the learning design is asynchronous. From time-to-time, the faculty will hold live calls, which will take place at a particular time, and you will need to be online at the given time. These live calls would typically take place following the Central European Time to accommodate the maximum participants across the globe. We will also record these live calls for those participants who are unable to join the live session.

What is the total length of the online programme?

This programme has 6 weeks of content.
An online programme always starts with a launch week before the first week of content is released.
After the launch week, the programme content is delivered over 6 consecutive weeks followed by 2 extra weeks to finish the project work and engage in peer review. The programme may also include a pause week(s).

What is the total length of the online programme?

Do I need to come to the INSEAD campus during the programme?

No. The programme is fully online and contains a mix of learning content including videos, quizzes and assignments.

Do I need to come to the INSEAD campus during the programme?

No. The programme is fully online and is a mix of asynchronous learning (through videos, quizzes, discussions, projects etc) and live online interactions with fellow participants, learning coach and faculty.

Will I have an opportunity to interact with INSEAD faculty?

There will be some interaction points with faculty either through live calls with the faculty to discuss course content, or recorded “Just-In-Time” videos where faculty will answer questions that are asked in the “Ask the Faculty” forum during the programme.

Will I be able to interact with other participants?

Yes, of course. The learning experience is designed to encourage interaction and simulate as close an experience to face-to-face as possible. Participants would be able to interact with each other through discussion forums, interspersed throughout the platform. In addition, participants would have the option to work on the Action-Learning Project in groups with fellow participants. They would also have the opportunity to interact with each other during the live call with faculty.

What is the role of the Learning Coach?

At INSEAD, you never learn alone. To bring this notion alive in the online setting, we have built a learning community comprising of the participants, the faculty and the learning coach. The learning coach plays an integral part in stimulating content discussions, encouraging collaboration between participants as well as guiding the participants closely in the design of their action-learning project.

A learning coach is available throughout the whole programme to help move the discussion forward and exchange with each participant as well as to support them with the learning. Participants can share their learning objectives with the learning coach at the start of the programme, who will follow their progress until the end of the programme.

What is the Leaderboard?

The learning platform has a leaderboard, which constantly updates the average score of the class and your earned points within the programme. It also shows the badges available and earned in the programme. Typically, points can be earned from watching video lectures, working on reflections, complete quizzes and submitting weekly action learning project. At the end of the programme, your final assignment peer review score will also be added to your total scores in the leaderboard.

What is the difference between individual and group Action Learning Project (ALP) submissions?

Individual vs Group ALP submission

We offer you the option to work on your ALP individually, or in a group on one common project (if you have colleagues from your company taking the programme at the same time as you).

Important note on ALP Groups

You can work in a group for your ALP by forming a team with 2-5 other participants from your company. This means your whole group will work on the same ALP topic. Your learning coach will spend time with the group to give guidance on the ALP. You will also do a group submission for your weekly ALP and final assignment (one group submission per assignment).

How much time should I expect to dedicate to the programme?

The programme will take between 6 to 8 hours to complete, on average. You will have the option to complete more role-plays if you wish to do so, which would increase the programme length by up to 2 hours. The full programme could be completed in one day or across a longer period, therefore participants can set a learning pace that suits them.

INSEAD Lead the Future is designed in a manner to encourage the whole class to learn together, moving at a certain pace from week to week, while providing enough flexibility within each week for the participants to review the content at their own convenience.

Each core module and elective has either 5-6 weeks of content. Each week of content is released on a Friday and you have two weeks to complete and review the content for that particular week. Participants then have until the Monday to finishing watching the content. At the end of the last week, you have two subsequent weeks to complete your final assignment for the Action-Learning Practice (ALP) and the peer review, where this phase normally takes between 10-12 days.

When do I get to choose my electives?

After the conclusion of the Core phase, including core project presentations, and the completion of Effective Decision Making for Leaders, participants will attend a live virtual introduction to electives. This will be an opportunity for participants to better understand the choices available to them and which electives best meet their leadership development needs.

Do I need to come to the INSEAD campus during the programme?

The programme is fully online and is a mix of asynchronous learning (through videos, quizzes, discussions, projects, live forums, webinars, Townhalls, etc) and live online interactions with fellow participants, learning coach and faculty.

The programme concludes with a 3-day Capstone and Graduation held on our Fontainebleau campus in France. During the Capstone participants will enjoy face-to-face workshops and classes.

Is this programme eligible for any continuing education/professional development units?

INSEAD Lead the Future is not eligible for continuing education or professional development units.

How do I know that this programme is right for me?

Lead the Future is INSEAD's 12-month transformational flagship online programme that elevates your skills needed to lead in an increasingly complex and rapidly changing world.

As a world leading pioneer in leadership development, the INSEAD Lead the Future Certificate enables you to sharpen your focus, gain the specialised tools to expand your capabilities - to adapt and drive meaningful impact and relevant results.

It enables executives to respond to volatile and ambiguous contexts, looking beyond short-term gains to understand the larger context and create sustainable value and impact for various stakeholders.

The programme is designed for senior executives, mid-level leaders, high-potential managers, and enterprising professionals looking to collaborate and exchange expertise, experience and insights with other motivated and visionary leaders to drive impact and change.

What is a typical class profile?

Our diversity is our distinguishing feature. INSEAD is probably the only school where you will find 30 nationalities in the same class. Just like our face-to-face programmes, this programme will include participants from all industry backgrounds and nationalities, with one common thread binding them together – a goal to learn about the topics being discussed, interact with fellow participants to acquire a global perspective and develop tools to take back and apply to their everyday work.

With so many different national and cultural perspectives to learn from, you really will start to see things differently. By challenging your old assumptions, you will become aware of new possibilities and start to understand how very different people think.

Is the programme eligible for the INSEAD Certificate in Global Management?

No, this programme is not eligible for the Certificate in Global Management.

Application Process

How do I apply and what is the selection process?

Similar to our face-to-face programmes, we have an application and admission process in place for our online programmes to ensure a diverse and motivated group of participants for a rich learning experience. It is important for all participants that the programme brings together participants with an adequate level of general-management experience, professional expertise and business responsibility.

The application form asks prospective participants questions around their professional background and motivations to join the programme. Admissions are granted on a first-come, first-served basis, taking into consideration the applicant’s fit for the programme, his or her learning objectives, potential contribution to the programme and the diversity within the class.

Some open programmes also involve an interview with the programme director as part of the application process. The programme advisor and admissions committee will be able to advise if an interview is necessary when you submit your application.

We recommend that you submit your completed application as early as possible, preferably six weeks prior to programme commencement. The admissions committee will review your application and advise you on the outcome as soon as possible.

I work for a company or organisation that would like to enrol multiple employees in the same programme. Is this possible?

Absolutely. We actually encourage participants to attend in teams in order to maximize the learning and impact.

Admissions Requirements & Selection Criteria

What is the experience needed (professional experience/management experience) in order to attend the programme?

The programme is ideally designed for managers with 3-6 years’ experience in leadership roles, including MBA graduates.

Why is it so important to bring at least one change initiative to the class?

Experiential learning was one of the main objectives when the programme was created. Having change initiatives during the programme, it allows participants to contribute their unique experiences, personalise the tools to their own situation in Change Pro Simulation and make an impact when they leave. By the end, they all have a clear set of priorities and are ready to create an action plan that can be used immediately upon their return at work.

What are typical change initiatives?

Change initiatives are usually plans and actions aiming at implementing a transforming process in an organisation that could result in a change of the culture, communication, human resource, logistics, and etc. According to the Programme Director Vibha Gaba, ‘they come from all geographies, industries and even career levels, so it’s hard to generalise. But one example might be a project to create a company-wide culture of customer focus; another might be setting up a new system in an overseas subsidiary – with a lot of push-back from local employees.’

Can I apply to the programme without any change initiatives at the moment?

Unfortunately, applicants who don’t have any change initiatives at hand will be rejected. We strictly accept participants who are actively involved in change initiatives – not only before or after the programme, but also throughout their attendance of the programme.

What is the experience needed (professional experience/management experience) in order to attend the programme?

The programme is ideally designed for managers with 6+ years experience in managing people.

What's the seniority of the class?

Participants are typically middle or senior managers, who have significant line or functional responsibilities, often crossing multiple countries, and high potential for more senior leadership positions.

Do I need to have any change initiatives to get into the programme?

Yes, it is recommended that applicants are responsible for or likely to lead strategic change initiatives within their organisations.

Language Policy

Are there any language requirements?

All our Open Programmes are taught in English and participants should be able to exchange complex views, listen and learn through the medium of English.

Admissions Requirement & Selection Criteria

I am not a Chair, am I still eligible to apply to the programme?

Leading from the Chair is specifically designed for chairs of boards or core board committees, so it is not suitable for those who have no board experience.

Admissions

Are the modules inter-changeable?

No, participants are not allowed to switch modules across different sessions. This is to ensure that participants stay with the same group of peers from the beginning of the programme to engage in better networking and get the most enriching learning experience.
