At Gare de Lyon, go to the ‘Ile de France’ ticket desk (NOT 'Grandes Lignes') to buy your ticket to Fontainebleau/Avon station. The final destination of your train may be any one of the following; Montereau, Montargis, Sens or Laroche-Migennes. This will be displayed on the Departures board.
Trains leave from any one of two sets of platforms - yellow 'numbered' platforms (5-23) at one end of the station and blue 'lettered' (A-N) platforms at the other (all about the Gare de Lyon). The closed circuit TV screen at the head of the platform announces all the stops. Make sure that your train stops in Fontainebleau.

The restaurant is self-service at lunchtime serving a wide selection of cuisine from around the world. For your evening meal, Fontainebleau and its surrounding villages have restaurants of many styles and price ranges, from simple café meals at around €15 to excellent haute cuisine up to €100 per person including wine. Service charges are included, although you may wish to leave some small change as a personal gesture. If you have any special dietary requirements, please inform your Programme Coordinator.
Security
For identification purposes, you will need to wear your badge while on campus. Badges are colour coded according to your programme and are your method of payment in the restaurant. This is a very busy campus and we do therefore advise you to not leave any valuables lying around in the amphitheatres, meeting rooms or elsewhere on the campus.
Dress Code
There is an informal atmosphere at INSEAD and the dress code is usually casual from the start of the programme. Most participants wear business attire for the closing dinner, but this is entirely a matter of personal choice.
Cash
Although your hotel does not have currency exchange facilities, there is a cash dispenser on campus. Virtually all shops and restaurants accept Visa and MasterCard.
The programme fees for all INSEAD Executive Education programmes cover tuition, course materials, lunches on working days as well as the opening and closing dinners. It does not however include travel, accommodation and other incidentals. We have put together a list that details some of these additional expenses that you may incur while on a programme at INSEAD Europe campus in Fontainebleau.
