About INSEAD

Brand Guidelines - Global Brand Elements - Logo

INSEAD Logo

The INSEAD logo combines the INSEAD Roundel with our strapline, “The Business School for the World”. This full version is our primary and preferred logo, designed to represent who we are at a glance — confident, global, and distinct.

The preferred version is INSEAD Green on a white background, reflecting INSEAD’s primary brand colour and ensuring maximum recognition and consistency

Logo Variations

Alternative versions in white or black are available when colour is not an option or when contrast is required. A digital-only gradient version is available for screen use only and must not be used in print.
A Keyline version, featuring an outlined circle, is also available when a lighter touch is preferred or to better integrate the logo within a specific design composition.

Separate Usage

While the full logo—combining the INSEAD Roundel with the strapline “The Business School for the World”—is the preferred and recommended version, there are situations where the elements may be used independently.

The Roundel alone may be appropriate for internal materials or audiences already familiar with the INSEAD brand. Likewise, the strapline lockup may be used as a standalone element when the Roundel appears elsewhere on the same communication, or when reinforcing INSEAD’s mission in editorial or messaging spaces.

Both elements must always follow the size, alignment, and colour rules defined in these guidelines. Never attempt to recreate, reposition, or alter them in any way.

A Logo for the World

Our logo has been designed to be truly global, allowing for different language straplines to be used and for these to be read in their language-specific directions – Chinese and English from left to right, and Arabic from right to left.

These three language lockups are available and their use is encouraged. Please consult the Communications team for any questions on usage specific to your collaterals.

Clear Space and Minimum Size

Clear space

When using the logo in communications, always leave plenty of clear space between the logo and other elements such as logos, text or images.

As the diagram below indicates, the minimum exclusion zone is equal to the distance between the top of the ‘E’ and the bottom of the Book of Knowledge. This rule applies to the full logo strapline lockup.

When using the strapline on its own, use the entire height of the strapline as a guide to the minimum amount of clear space.

Minimum size

In order to maintain legibility and consistency, the minimum height of the full logo strapline lockup when printing is 14mm, and the minimum height of the core logo is 12mm.
