Taxes
You may be eligible for a tax deduction on your INSEAD fees in your country of residence and we encourage you to check the conditions with the local tax authorities where your taxes are due. You need to contact your local tax office for precise information. If required, the INSEAD Accounts Department can provide a receipt that indicates the exact date your tuition payments were received by us. We suggest you also check in advance whether the payment would need to reach us before the end of the calendar year. It is acceptable to make payments in advance.
Sign-on bonus
If you receive a sign-on bonus at the end of the programme INSEAD cannot accept to have it paid to your INSEAD tuition account due to the legal and accounting regulations. The company will have to make the payment directly to your personal bank account.

Loans
External Funding Options
Global INSEAD Loans
Students residing in France and starting the programme on the Fontainebleau campus are encouraged to explore the national banks listed in this section. The INSEAD global loans are structured to serve the international student population based outside of France, where the course takes place. The same rule applies to Singaporeans residing in Singapore.
All global INSEAD loans will be transferred to the school either in time of the second installment due or after the start of the programme. You will be responsible for making the first installment with your personal funds.
Make sure to leave ample time to organize your loans, as loan application processing can be very lengthy. It can take up to 2 months if the bank requests documentation or if you need to organise collateral or insurance.
INSEAD MBA Financing Office provides a basic estimated budget for staying in France or Singapore for the year. Please note that all additional expenses you will incur will depend largely on the life style you choose. We suggest you calculate your needs in advance and that you avoid borrowing more than you really need.
