Global INSEAD Loans
A number of global funding schemes are available for you to explore, as well as national funding sources in your country known to INSEAD.
Lendwise
All admitted students are eligible to apply for a loan from Lendwise Ltd.
Lendwise is a specialist loan provider based in London (UK) and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority of the UK. Lendwise is dedicated to providing education finance for individuals who are looking to fund their postgraduate studies at world class universities. Full-time programme students who are approved for a Lendwise loan will have access to a grace period that allows for repayment to start after graduation. The interest rate offered is competitive, fixed for the entire duration of the loan and will depend on the overall applicant profile. To apply you must have received an offer of admission to a programme at INSEAD. The application process is entirely online.
*Some applicants may not be eligible due to legal reasons.
All admitted students are eligible to apply for tuition financing from Brain Capital.
Brain Capital was brought to INSEAD by two MBA graduates from the Class of ‘17J. They offer a proven and innovative financing scheme for your studies at INSEAD.
The two INSEAD MBA students envisioned a tuition-financing model that would allow you to study at INSEAD without the burden of financial debt. They partnered with Brain Capital as a trusted partner who have already supported more than 5,000 students over the last 10 years.
Repayments of the tuition fees are completely income dependent and give you the highest flexibility for your future career and life choices. In addition, you are offered individual career support before and after graduation. Up to your full tuition fees plus living expenses can be financed.
*Some applicants may not be eligible due to legal reasons.
Juno
Juno (formerly LeverEdge) is a collective bargaining organization for student loans. They negotiate with lenders to provide an exclusive deal available to U.S. Citizens and International Students with a valid U.S. cosigner. Non-French students who are admitted to INSEAD who may be seeking financial assistance are able to apply for financing from banks and/or private student lenders such as Juno US-based platform to apply for US-currency loans. Loans are offered for tuition fees and living expenses. INSEAD does not charge any fee or obtain any fee or compensation-in-kind from Juno.
All admitted students are eligible to apply for an International Loan Programme from Prodigy Finance.
Prodigy Finance was started by three INSEAD MBA graduates who experienced first-hand the difficulties of financing an international MBA. In 2007, they set out to solve this problem. Their innovative model offers loans to international postgraduate students at leading business schools. Through their community platform, alumni and other investors earn competitive returns, while students gain access to higher education they otherwise could not afford.
Eligibility
Most international students admitted to the INSEAD MBA, EMBA, EMFin, and TIEMBA programmes are eligible*.
*Some applicants may not be eligible due to legal reasons.
Lendorse
Lendorse provides funding for international students to cover tuition or living costs in exchange for a fixed percentage of a future salary. The repayment is always tied to the pay check, you don't pay when you don't earn. Through the Income Share Agreement, the supported students obtain not only the necessary finances but also mentorship and industry advice to kickstart their careers.
All non-EU students regardless of their citizenship are welcome to apply (North America is excluded). Loan amounts vary from 3 000 € to 20 000 €.
*INSEAD does not charge any fee or obtain any fee or compensation-in-kind from Lendorse.
StepEx
StepEx is the only FCA regulated provider of Future Earnings Agreements, "FEAs”, which allow you to defer repaying the cost of your qualification until you are earning above a defined income threshold.
Your repayments will be based upon a percentage of your salary for a 5 year period, there is also a maximum repayment cap. Repayments are more affordable as, if your salary goes down or is less than you expect, you will repay less, and equally if your salary is more than you expect you will pay more.
Currently this form of finance is only available to UK and EU passport holders. FEAs will be issued at the discretion of StepEx and multiple criteria will be considered.
StepEx funding is available for the MBA students starting the Programme on Europe campus in Fontainebleau.
