INSEAD Family Enterprise Summit - Enduring Changes: Family Business Transformation in a Dynamic World
INSEAD Family Enterprise Summit - Enduring Changes: Family Business Transformation in a Dynamic World
Overview
In the face of today’s seismic changes, family enterprises are confronting unparalleled challenges to their ability to thrive and prosper. The current geopolitical shifts with global macroeconomic dynamics and rising tensions are fueling uncertainties and disrupting markets. Rising nationalism and protectionist policies are affecting trade and investment globally. Technological advancements, particularly in AI, are gamechangers to decision-making processes and productivity, putting traditional lean business-building and investment methods at stake.
Rooted in the heritage of traditions, values, trust, and a long-term vision, family enterprises have weathered through rough seasons of crises and proven resilience against external disruptions and multi-disciplinary volatility.
What are the lessons we can learn from these enduring family enterprises?
Are family enterprises better positioned to survive, versus multinational, in times of turbulent backdrops?
Can families in businesses “stay the course”, not be distracted and equip their generations for sound decisions, strategic choices and adaptability?
How can they transform through innovation and growth to ensure success and longevity?
What role do private capital and equity providers play in relation to family businesses? How can they build long-term partnerships and collaborate effectively?
Hosted by INSEAD Wendel International Centre for Family Enterprise, the INSEAD Family Enterprise Summit will bring together academic experts and practitioners to explore critical questions such as:
How do family enterprises build competencies to lead in such an uncertain environment?
What strategic imperatives help family enterprises to thrive and foster innovation while keeping tradition at the core?
What barriers must be overcome to stay resilient? What is the role of next gen in steering the family to embrace changes?
How to re-evaluate the strategic options in attracting private capital for investment?
The Summit will delve into how enduring business families foster culture of innovation across generations, leverage AI for new ventures, and rethink private capital strategies to secure their legacy while navigating unpredictability.
Limited seats are allocated for third-party service providers to family enterprises who are invited by a member of a family business to ensure an atmosphere of trust and confidentiality applying Chatham house rule.
May we encourage you to register as soon as possible to secure your seat and book your hotel accommodation early as demand is high during this period.
