100 INSEAD Alumni - Career Growth Beyond the First Job | Online

Note: This session will be conducted in Chinese.

In today’s evolving job market, shaped by technological disruption, shifting talent demands, and increasing career mobility, many professionals are reflecting on how to build sustainable, long-term careers.

At INSEAD, we recognise that while short-term outcomes often draw focus, it is long-term career growth, particularly how individuals evolve, adapt, and lead over time, that ultimately defines lasting impact. With this in mind, INSEAD is launching the 100 INSEAD Alumni series, bringing together accomplished alumni across industries, geographies, and career stages to share their experiences and perspectives on how careers develop, and the role that formative experiences, including global education, can play in supporting sustained growth.

In this inaugural session, we are pleased to welcome Jason Jia, Global Partner at Egon Zehnder and an INSEAD MBA alumnus from the Class of 2004, alongside Jennifer Luo from INSEAD. Together, they will reflect on how careers evolve beyond the early stages, what differentiates sustained professional growth, and how experiences such as a global MBA or Master’s programme may contribute to long-term career development.

Date: 23 May 2026, Saturday

Time: 8:00 pm - 9:00 pm (GMT+8) | Click here for time zones

Venue: Online via Zoom

This session will explore:

  • How the value of an MBA is viewed in today’s hiring landscape
  • How careers typically evolve beyond the first role
  • What contributes to long-term career progression and leadership development
  • The role of global exposure, networks, and structured learning in supporting career growth over time
  • How to approach career decisions with a long-term perspective

Make Work Play: Unlocking Creativity and Wellbeing | Online

You are warmly invited to attend our upcoming Online Masterclass "Make Work Play: Unlocking Creativity and Wellbeing" by Professor Enoch Li .

Topic: Make Work Play: Unlocking Creativity and Wellbeing

Synopsis: In this interactive webinar, Professor Enoch Li shares her pioneering research on how everyday objects and toys can become moments of play at work to boost creative thinking, reduce stress, and enhance a sense of belonging. Her insights reveal how small, intentional shifts in our environment can unlock big changes in how we feel and perform at work.

Drawing on her work with global organisations, Enoch Li shares how leaders and teams can embed play into their team culture to promote psychological safety and collective problem-solving. You will leave this webinar with practical ideas and fresh inspiration to make your workplace more human, creative, and energising.

Since this will be an interactive webinar, please kindly ensure your camera is turned on to create a space for exchange and sharing of thoughts and reflections.

Before the webinar, take a few moments and look around your desk space either at the office or at home. What toys or small objects do you have – trinkets, figurines, postcards, pictures, magnets etc…? We invite you to bring the toy / object with you to the webinar, or a photo of the object works fine too!
