About the Scholarship
Cygnum Capital, a leading emerging markets focused investment banking and asset management firm headquartered in the UK, recently partnered with INSEAD to establish the Cygnum Capital Scholarship for Sub-Saharan Africa. Beginning in 2027, the scholarship will support one MBA candidate from a sub-Saharan country each year for five years, helping to cultivate the next generation of leaders across the continent. The scholarship, endorsed by Clemens Calice, CEO of Cygnum Capital and INSEAD MBA’99D, reinforces the firm’s commitment to strengthening the talent and business ecosystem across Africa. It is also a statement that finance should be a force for positive change.
Eligibility
The Scholarship will support MBA applicants who are nationals of Sub-Saharan African states and territories and who require financial assistance. Only candidates who have applied for admission to the INSEAD MBA programme will be considered.
