Biography

Martine is the former CEO of Höegh Capital Partners (HCP). She stepped down as CEO in 2023 after 17 years in the role and remains a Senior Advisor to the Höegh Group. HCP is a multi-billion dollar family investment office co-located in London and Oslo which oversees all of the global investment interests of the Høegh family, including public and private direct investments and multi-asset class financial investments.

Martine is a senior finance professional whose family investment office experience followed an earlier career in investment banking at Goldman Sachs (based in NYC followed by Hong Kong), management consulting at McKinsey (based in London and working across Europe) and venture capital at Arts Alliance Ventures (co-located in London and NYC). She combines investing, corporate finance and governance with a platform in strategy and business building across asset class, stage, sector and geography. In addition, she has significant Board level experience as an investor, shareholder representative and non-executive director. Over her career, she has shown a consistent passion for leadership of diverse teams.

Born in Canada, Martine has lived and worked in each of the US, Asia, the UK, Europe and Sub Saharan Africa. Martine holds an MBA from INSEAD and a joint Honours BA in Economics and Politics from Queen's University (Canada). She lives in London with her husband and children. She is a dual Canadian and British citizen.
