"INSEAD is a thought leader in many ways, and it’s a network-central hub for knowledge. We get people from all over the world coming here with their problems and solutions on governance issues. How do the programmes work or how are they designed? It is really a combination of three things. Firstly, it is getting the right faculty, who are experts in their area, with experts from the real world working with them. Secondly, it is working on the right topics that will help real board members be effective. Thirdly, it is putting everybody in the room to discuss these things. When you put those three elements together, you’ve got learning and effectiveness happening automatically.”
