Family Enterprise Day - The Hénokiens Inspiration: Embracing Dualities For Family Business Reinvention
Overview
The hallmark of long-standing family businesses is anchored upon their effectiveness in juggling between paradoxical dualities such as family relationships and business imperatives, long-term versus short-term goals, rejuvenation for renewal versus preserving traditions for heritage and maintaining control while professionalising to enhance governance. The concept of embracing dualities is fundamental for family business owners and leaders who seek to leverage the unique strengths of family-owned businesses to create sustainable pathways for growth, innovation and resilience in a dynamic business landscape.
Members of the Henokiens Association who represent family enterprises and bicentenary family firms, have exemplified commitment and proficiency in managing the inherent dualities in driving family business reinvention. What are some of the lessons we can learn from these family enterprises? How can the Next-Gen in family businesses better equip themselves to face the challenges in managing these dualities?
The INSEAD Wendel International Centre for Family Enterprise in collaboration with the Henokiens Association, is jointly hosting the Family Enterprise Day focused on the theme of “The Hénokiens Inspiration: Embracing Dualities For Family Business Reinvention".
