About the Scholarship
The scholarship was established in 2018 thanks to the generous support of the Hinrich Foundation whose mission it is to advance sustainable global trade. The Foundation, created by Merle A. Hinrich, advances its objective by supporting trade career development, offering export trade assistance, and fostering international trade research. The Foundation believes education is an essential element to further corporate growth and sustainability. It sponsors education and careers for people who are committed to working in global trade. The objective is to help export companies across the value chain to enhance their talent development pipeline.
Eligibility
One or two INSEAD Hinrich Foundation Scholarships will be awarded in September INSEAD MBA intake. Preference will be given to candidates who have worked in global trade and/or who demonstrate a strong interest in pursuing their career in this domain. Preference will be given to candidates who show motivation to work in Asia post-MBA. Scholarship recipients will be encouraged to engage with the Hinrich Foundation for mentorship and possible career opportunities.
