Speaker Profile | Ville Satopaa | Professor of Technology and Operations ManagementBefore joining INSEAD, Ville received his MA and Ph.D. degrees in Statistics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He also holds a BA in Mathematics and Computer Sciences from Williams College.Ville has decades of experience on data analytics. His current research studies collective intelligence of humans and/or AI in forecasting and decision-making. This involves developing general theory and methodology on information fusion and also specific projects that leverage AI for synthetic personas, experimental design, or conflict resolution. His expertise bridges theoretical advancements with practical applications, making significant contributions to both academia and industry. In recognition of his impact on management practice, he was named to the Thinkers50 Radar Class of 2024.
