Can I cancel my application in the online programme?

The participant may cancel the application form at any time by emailing INSEAD Executive Education Department at [email protected]
If the participant cancels the Application Form before the onboarding session no cancellation fee shall apply. If the participant cancels the Application Form after the onboarding session, the participant shall be liable to pay INSEAD 100% of the cost of Tuition fee.

Can I request to transfer to the next run or to another programme?

The participant may request to transfer to another programme at anytime by emailing INSEAD Executive Education Department at [email protected].
If the Participant requested the transfer before the onboarding session, no fee shall apply.
If the Participant requested the transfer after the onboarding session, the participant shall be liable to pay INSEAD 100% of the cost of Tuition Fee.
In the event that there is an increase in Tuition Fee between the Programme and the transferred programmes(s), the Participant where self-funded or the Company where Company-funded, agrees to pay the increase in Tuition Fee which shall be paid prior to the Commencement Date of the transferred programme

Learning Experience

When will I receive information to access the online platform?
-
You will have access to the learning platform after the onboarding session. This email will contain your login details and other important information to get you started with your online programme experience.

I won’t be able to attend the Programme Onboarding Session, what are my options?
-
The Programme Onboarding Session will be recorded and made available on the platform. However, we strongly encourage you to attend the session live, as it offers a valuable opportunity to meet the Programme Director, connect with your peers, and gain more important information about the programme.

Do I need to be online at specific times during the programme, or can I learn ahead of the rest of the class?
-
The programme includes several scheduled live virtual sessions, along with an on-campus capstone session towards the end, both of which require mandatory attendance. Details for these sessions can be found in the programme calendar.
Outside of these mandatory sessions, you have the flexibility to complete the coursework at your own pace, as content will be released gradually on a weekly basis. However, it is important to adhere to the assignment deadlines set throughout the programme to help you stay on track. Additionally, the course must be completed within a specified timeframe, as some critical elements require the cohort to progress at a similar pace.

How much time is required to complete the programme?

INSEAD Lead the Future runs for 12 months with an estimated workload of 4-6 hours per week. This includes videos, discussion forums, class exercises and assignments.

Are there opportunities to interact with faculty or peers?
-
We offer live online Q&A sessions with faculty per core module as part of the programmes, allowing you to interact with them directly. Remember to save the dates for each core module's Faculty Live Calls once it become available.
Peer learning is strongly encouraged throughout the programme. To facilitate this, participants will be organised into learning groups for each core module, providing valuable opportunities to engage and collaborate with peers. Additional details will be available on the learning platform.

How long do I have access to the online platform?

You will continue to access to the online platform up to 6 months from your graduation date. However, you are expected to complete the course content according to specific deadlines stated in the calendar.
Certification

What do I receive upon the successful completion of the programme?
-
You will receive an official Lead the Future Certificate of Completion from INSEAD upon meeting all the course requirements at the end of the programme and will receive lifelong INSEAD Affiliate status.
Additionally, a physical copy of the certificate will be presented to you during your graduation ceremony at the Fontainebleau campus in France.

What are the requirements to earn the completion certificate?

All the requirements listed below must be fulfilled to complete the programme and obtain certification:
- Complete at least 90% of the in-platform learning activities for each Core Module and Elective.
- Submit at least 3 weekly ALP assignments per core module and one reflection per elective.
- Attend all 3 live virtual sessions of the Effective Decision-Making for Leaders.
- Submit the Core Project in a timely manner and receive a passing grade.
- Attend the half-day live virtual Core Project Seminar.
- Attend the 3-day Capstone and Graduation in the Fontainebleau campus in France.

Do I need a visa?
-
We strongly recommend checking with your local embassy or the official France Visa Requirements website to determine your specific visa requirements for entry into France. Each participant is responsible for obtaining the appropriate visa if required.
We can provide an invitation letter for your visa application, please contact us. The visa application process may take at least four weeks, and the first step is to schedule an appointment with the French Embassy or Consulate.

How can we book the accommodation for the Capstone and Graduation?

INSEAD has hotels situated on and around campus for short term stays. These accommodations are available on a first-come, first-served basis for participants attending short programmes, conferences, or seminars. There are also other hotel accommodations in Fontainebleau and surrounding areas you can explore.

How can we get to INSEAD Europe Campus?

You can book a taxi in advance or catch one from FBL-Avon station.
- From Charles de Gaulle airport to INSEAD Fontainebleau campus and vice versa: Approximate travelling time is 1 hour 15 minutes
- From Orly airport to INSEAD Fontainebleau campus and vice versa: Approximate travelling time is 45 minutes

Technical Queries

What are the technical requirements or special software needed for participating in the programme?

For optimal learning experience, we recommend using the most recent versions of Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox or Safari browsers. It's ideal to have a broadband connection with a minimum speed of 5Mbps to have a smooth online session. Please ensure you have MS office and PDF plugin installed to access course documents.
Please remember to whitelist all @insead.edu email addresses (i.e. put them on a safe senders list).

Is the platform available as an app?

INSEAD's online programmes are not currently available through an application. The learning platform is best viewed using a laptop/computer on a web browser. Programmes can also be completed through the web on a tablet, as the platform is fully responsive. They cannot be completed offline.

Does the programme offer captions in the videos?

Yes, we provide captions and transcripts for all pre-recorded videos in English only.
