MBA Teaching

Karel Cool created at INSEAD the course Industry and Competitive Analysis. It teaches students the fundamental and advanced concepts, frameworks and tools for how to develop competitive strategies for long term success. All cases used in the course are recent and are authored or co-authored by Karel. It is the largest elective in the Strategy group at INSEAD and one of the largest elective courses overall. For the past several years, he has taught the course together with Professor Javier Gimeno.
