Masterclass Topic: Building a New Venture Team
Synopsis: Most professional investors and observers believe the quality of management is a critical factor to evaluate when assessing a new venture. Attracting high-quality people in an entrepreneurial context and melding them into a cohesive venture team is a challenging task. An important step in putting together a venture team that performs like magic involves thinking through team composition ahead of time. In this session, we examine how to plan for the composition of the venture team so as to minimize predictable tensions and conflicts and maximize the chances of building a solid organization.
