Karen Bozynski Wilson, P.Eng, MBA brings 30 years experience in electronics manufacturing with technical and leadership roles across the ecosystem, from process engineering of semiconductor wirebonding and solder joint geometry optimization, to design and leadership of world-class lean-six-sigma factories, including designing, launching, and leading an Ontario telecommunications factory that was more cost competitive than Mexico; and leading mergers & acquisitions integration across Europe, Americas, and Asia, to COO of an infrared gesture-sensing tech startup, to leading partnerships for the leading hardware accelerator for Canada, to Electric Vehicle and robotics battery solutions for innovations ranging from agri-tech vehicles to 1-person urban mobility vehicles.
Karen is passionate to support and build Canada's capability for innovation and leadership globally. Karen holds bachelor degrees in both Economics and Materials and Metallurgical Engineering from Queen's University, and a MBA from INSEAD.
Karen has held numerous board positions including co-founder of award-winning national youth STEM education Actua, Girl Guides of Canada, The National Club in Toronto's financial core, and leading the Canadian INSEAD Alumni Association. Since winning a national engineering competition for her design of convertible logistics containers and being part of a winning solar car team nearly 30 years ago, and mentoring and speaking at conferences for Women in Science and Engineering and hosting webinar speaker panels though INSEAD San Francisco, she is passionate to support and build innovation and leadership globally.
