Arnaud Odier

Arnaud Odier is a Director within the global coverage team of Crédit Agricole CIB (Investment Banking arm of Crédit Agricole Group). He covers large Family Holdings, with a focus on the Swiss market.  He was previously in charge of developing the investment banking services of Indosuez Wealth Management in Geneva. Before joining Crédit Agricole Group, he devoted part of his career to the development and implementation of public policies, serving as Deputy Director of the Policy Unit of the UMP (French center-right political party) from 2009 to 2012 and being in charge of the Economic Policy  of the Fondation pour l'innovation politique (a French think tank).

Arnaud Odier lectures at Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris (Sciences Po), focusing on Family Business and economics. He regularly collaborates with the “Geoeconomics and Geofinance Initiative” of the Institut français des relations internationals (IFRI). In this capacity, he recently published a study addressing the geopolitical issues of monetary policy (Central Banks: subjects and instruments of geopolitical conflicts, march 2026) as well as various articles dedicated to the geopolitics of finance in Politique étrangère. He is also the author of Bossuet, la voix du Grand Siècle  (Éditions du Cerf, 2017), a biographical essay on the 17th-century French bishop and orator.

Arnaud Odier graduated from HEC, Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris and Paris IV Sorbonne (Classics).
