Dear friends,
As Dean of INSEAD, I am honoured and pleased to connect with you, our generous donors, whose support advances our institution to the forefront of global business education. This year has been marked by extraordinary achievements: the Financial Times ranked us #1 in Custom Programmes for Executive Education. Our MBA and Master in Management programmes ranked #2 and #3, respectively, in their categories. These rankings culminated in INSEAD being recognised as the #1 business school in Europe, underscoring our unwavering commitment to excellence and our mission to shape the future of business on a global scale.
Our achievements stem from the people who make INSEAD: a vibrant community of innovators, leaders, entrepreneurs, students, teachers, and philanthropists, all committed to transformative action. This report is dedicated to all of you, whose generosity fortifies our role as a powerful agent of change.
Every gift to INSEAD has meaningful impact, and some gifts are truly transformational. Thanks to the extraordinary generosity of Wolfgang Marguerre MBA’72 and the Octapharma Foundation, we have made significant strides in our Europe Campus Reimagination project — a cornerstone of our vision for the future. The James M. and Cathleen D. Stone Foundation’s renewed support of their Centre for the Study of Wealth Inequality ensures the school’s continued leadership in addressing critical global challenges. Henry Engelhardt MBA’88J, through the Moondance Foundation, demonstrated his commitment to INSEAD’s mission with a leadership gift to the Dean’s Fund, furthering key initiatives. In addition, countless donors have invested in our students through scholarships, opening doors for the next generation of leaders. Together, these contributions power our journey of transformation and innovation.
I am profoundly grateful for the time and insights so many of you have shared with me. Reflecting on my inaugural year as Dean, I feel privileged to be part of this extraordinary community and to collaborate with our dedicated faculty and staff in advancing INSEAD’s mission.
As we look ahead, I am excited to continue this journey with you, drawing on our collective strengths to address pressing challenges and embrace emerging opportunities. I deeply appreciate your passion and commitment to the school and feel confident that, together, we will continue to develop responsible business leaders who transform both business and society.
With my deepest thanks,
Francisco Veloso
Dean
