Xingyu joined INSEAD as a Postdoctoral Researcher in September 2026. He earned a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park and a Bachelor’s degree in Automation from Beihang University.
Before joining INSEAD, Xingyu was a doctoral researcher at the University of Maryland.
At INSEAD, Xingyu is currently working closely with Professor Stephen Chick on clinical trial design. His research interests include stochastic optimization, simulation, stochastic control and their applications in healthcare management.
