Overview
INSEAD develops responsible, thoughtful leaders and entrepreneurs who create value for their organisations and their communities. The school believes in business being a force for good. To reinforce this, we have introduced Social Impact Award for the December Class students to pursue a summer internship aligned with INDEVOR’s mission of making a positive difference in the world. The employing organisation can be a registered not-for-profit, NGO, public sector organisation, for-profit social venture, or social investment firm with a clearly defined social or environmental purpose incorporated into the core reason for operation – evident in both mission and practice. (Political and/or religious organisations do not qualify).

Eligibility
December Class MBA students of any nationality who have an offer for a full-time summer position with an eligible organisation by the time of the award. At a minimum, the internship must entail a Monday through Friday 35-hour work week. Eligible candidates must demonstrate strong motivation for community involvement, social engagement and/or social enterprise.

Submissions
Essay Topic
1).Organisation and internship overview This should include a description of:
- The organisation, division, department or programme where you will contribute
- The name and title of the supervisor and your level of contact with that individual
- Realistic end-of-summer deliverables
2).Benefits to the organisation and the MBA student This should answer the following questions:
- What are the short- and long-term benefits to the organisation and community of having you intern there?
- How will this experience assist you in achieving your personal and professional goals?
- How do you expect this experience to change your thinking about social impact?
