Who we are

The Post-Exit Entrepreneurs Retreat (PEER) is an initiative to help successful entrepreneurs maximise the post-exit stages from a personal, professional, and financial perspective. PEER was conceptualized within the entrepreneurial community at INSEAD – the business school with the most European unicorns. This unique INSEAD workshop experience is delivered by professionals with deep expertise in the practice and research on business & finance as well as philanthropy & impact.

As a number of the founding champions of PEER have themselves gone through the exit process, they realized that no such initiatives free of vested interests exist. Thus, PEER was created by entrepreneurs to support other entrepreneurs going through a life-changing liquidity event, such that they may re-invent themselves for their next phase.

We believe entrepreneurs are a very special and powerful breed that expand their future with an evolving sense of purpose towards themselves and their community, particularly after a successful exit. Our objective is to help them uncover and grapple with key foundational questions which often arise after a liquidity event.

OBJECTIVE:

Provide a platform for entrepreneurs — including first-gen founders or later-gen family business scions — that experience a life-changing liquidity event because of successful company-building (recently or even years ago) to come together for shared reflection and peer learning, thus honing the impact and purpose of their next phase.

WHAT TO EXPECT: 

Sessions led by experts and peers who have gone through those stages, with a mix of peer-to-peer discussions, immersive coaching and experiential group interactions

Plenty of opportunities to connect and mingle with like-minded entrepreneurs, bounce your ideas and feelings, (re)connect with yourself, clear your mind and plan your next steps, in line with your sense of purpose

Dinner and Celebration – PEER graduation time!

PEER is tailored for: 

A small and exclusive group of successful entrepreneurs who have exited (or plan to exit in the medium term) the company they founded or co-founded. Later generation business scions and investors who have had a successful financial exit are equally invited to participate.

Entrepreneurs who embrace benevolence and possess a genuine willingness to advance their journey as a force for good in business and society.

Entrepreneurs of all countries, industries, genders, seniority and size of business exited are welcome.
