Adeline joined INSEAD as a Predoctoral Researcher in September 2026. She holds a Master in Management from INSEAD and a Bachelor of Economics in Finance from Xiamen University. Before joining INSEAD, she gained experience in empirical research, financial analysis, and corporate operations through roles at Deloitte, Keppel Capital and a manufacturing firm.
Her research interests are in empirical financial accounting, particularly corporate governance, accounting and disclosure and the real effects of accounting information and regulation. She is broadly interested in how changes in the information environment shape firms’ decisions and behavior, and in understanding the economic consequences of accounting and disclosure beyond their role in increasing transparency.
At INSEAD, Adeline is developing her empirical research skills through hands-on research projects and is particularly interested in research that connects rigorous empirical analysis with real-world economic and policy questions.
