Weinan Hu joined INSEAD as Predoctoral Researcher in June 2025. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Surveying (Real Estate) from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and Master’s degrees in Business Analytics and Data Science from the University of Rochester.
Before joining INSEAD, Weinan had industry experiences including developing targeted marketing campaigns using A/B testing and causal inference at Didi Global, He also built a dish recommendation system for Pizza Hut China as a consultant.
At INSEAD, he is collaborating with Prof. Maria Ana Vitorino on projects in Quantitative Marketing. Weinan’s research interests include empirical studies of consumer search and choice behaviour.
