Qianqian joined INSEAD as a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Economics and Political Science area in September 2026. She holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration from Tianjin University and a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Xi'an Jiaotong University.
Her research examines how digital platforms and emerging technologies shape economic and social outcomes. Drawing on large-scale observational data and causal inference methods, she studies the effects of platform design, information environments, and technology adoption on individual decisions and market outcomes. Her previous work has explored fairness in platform-mediated markets and the environmental implications of technology-enabled services.
At INSEAD, Qianqian works closely with Professors Lily Fang and Pushan Dutt on projects related to productivity and the implications of artificial intelligence adoption for work and labor markets across different workers, firms, and economic contexts.
