Gabriela joined INSEAD as a Predoctoral Researcher in the Organisational Behaviour area in January 2026. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of São Paulo, Brazil, with a focus on Work and Organizational Psychology.
Prior to joining INSEAD, she collaborated remotely on organisational behaviour research and was an Undergraduate Visiting Research Student at the Ian O. Ihnatowycz Institute for Leadership at Ivey Business School, Canada, where she contributed to experimental studies on leader character and power dynamics in decision making. Alongside her academic training, she worked as an organizational designer and facilitator, supporting organizations across sectors in redesigning governance and dialogic practices within less hierarchical organizational forms.
At INSEAD, Gabriela is currently conducting research on the dynamics of radical decentralization and self-management in organizations. Her work also examines creativity and innovation, as well as how subjective experience and affect shape work processes, including team dynamics and interactions with Artificial Intelligence.
Her research interests include organizational design, team dynamics, psychological safety, inclusion at work, and less hierarchical forms of organizing.
