Diego joined INSEAD as post-doctoral researcher in August 2026. He earned a Ph.D. in Business Administration and Management (cum laude) from Bocconi University, Italy.
Before joining INSEAD, Diego worked as a doctoral researcher and lecturer at Boconi University, where he also managed the “IdeaBoosterLab” entrepreneurship training program for early-stage startups. Prior to his doctoral studies, Diego worked as a management consultant for KPMG.
At INSEAD, Diego is currently working closely with Professors Vibha Gaba, Henrich Greve and Erdem Doğukan Yilmaz on the implications of Artificial Intelligence for entrepreneurship. Diego’s research interests include entrepreneurship, AI, strategic decision making and field experiments.
