Before starting her PhD at INSEAD, Zhixi worked as a part-time research assistant in the accounting department at NUS, followed by a full-time research assistant position at City University of Hong Kong. Her primary research interests focus on ESG and corporate disclosures, with additional interests in textual analysis and machine learning, fields she began exploring during her master’s studies.
