During his undergraduate studies at Sharif University of Technology, Omid was recognised as the best student in extracurricular activities. He later pursued a master's at the Stockholm School of Economics (SSE), where he conducted research on cross-functional collaboration in sustainability reporting. His professional experience includes roles as a Research Assistant at SSE, an Investment Analyst at Nyhavn Capital, and a Business Controller at Cafe Bazaar, Iran’s leading Android marketplace, where he optimised budget planning, revised the stock bonus scheme, and enhanced reporting processes. His previous research focused on managerial accounting, particularly in environmental and social accounting, management control, and inter-firm collaboration.
