Ecem received her BSc degree in Industrial Engineering with a minor degree in Computer Science from Ozyegin University, Istanbul. She actively served as a teaching assistant across various courses during her undergraduate and graduate studies, enhancing her academic experience. In her graduate research, she worked as a research assistant in numerous international and interdisciplinary projects centered around healthcare-related problems and disaster response operations. She enjoys working closely with practitioners and applying analytical solution approaches to address complex, real-life challenges.
