The first week of Summer@INSEAD, the business school’s new programme on Business Awareness for high schools students, designed and developed in partnership with the Abu Dhabi Education Council (ADEC), has concluded with a visit to the UAE’s embassy in Paris.
The 45 students — 25 Emirati nationals and 20 international - had the opportunity to meet with His Excellency Maadhad Hareb Mughair Al Khaili, the UAE Ambassador to the French Republic, to learn more about the embassy’s key activities and the role it plays in nurturing partnership between the two countries.
Following the trip to the UAE embassy, the students indulged in Middle Eastern and local gastronomic delicacies, while engaging in cross—cultural experiences promoting bridge—building between people, cultures and ideas.
From August 2nd to 20th 2015, the 25 ADEC young high-school talents along with their international peers are attending an intensive summer course at the INSEAD Europe campus in Fontainebleau, France. The initiative is part of ADEC and INSEAD’s joint effort to inspire and empower young talents to develop a deeper appreciation and understanding of the global economy and European culture.
