Twenty seven young and talented Emirati students had the opportunity to visit the INSEAD Abu Dhabi campus as part of a welcome session organised by the leading business school and the Summer@INSEAD programme.
The high-achieving Emirati students were selected among their peers across all ADPC schools to attend an intensive course at INSEAD’s Fontainebleau campus in France from 2 to 20 August 2015. During the three-week programme, the students will receive hands-on training in business and management and gain social and cultural knowledge to make a difference in their communities. The Summer@INSEAD programme is run in cooperation with the Abu Dhabi Education Council (ADEC).
During the orientation session, the tenth graders were introduced to the basics of business strategy in an interactive session with Professor Peter B. Zemsky, Deputy Dean of INSEAD.
Summer@INSEAD will feature an intensive academic curriculum on business awareness and include talks with leading managers and entrepreneurs. A series of visits to some of France’s most prestigious brands will also take place to give participating students the opportunity to see first-hand how businesses operate. To complement the academic modules, visits to iconic and historic landmarks in France will educate students about European culture and heritage.
