Certificate establishes proficiency level of MBA participants in the theory, concepts, and tools of Blue Ocean Strategy
INSEAD, the leading international business school, today announced that it has created The Blue Ocean Strategy Certificate for its MBA participants.
The certificate is awarded to participants who have successfully completed the three courses that cover the Blue Ocean Strategy – the Strategy Core Course, the Blue Ocean Strategy Simulation Course as well as the Blue Ocean Strategy Study Group.
All three courses are offered in both the Asia and Europe campuses in Singapore and Fontainebleau, respectively.
The book Blue Ocean Strategy was co-authored by INSEAD Professors W. Chan Kim and Renee Mauborgne, who are also co-directors of the INSEAD Blue Ocean Strategy Institute. Published in 2005, it has sold more than two million copies, and has since been translated into 42 languages and is bestseller across five continents.
Developed at INSEAD, Blue Ocean Strategy has gained considerable interest around the world across corporate, government ad nonprofit sectors, and is now being taught at business schools around the world.
"With INSEAD as the intellectual hub of the Blue Ocean Strategy, I am sure INSEAD’s Blue Ocean Certificate will equip our MBA participants with the best endorsement and recognition for their proficiency in the implementation of the Strategy," said Professor Jake Cohen, Dean of MBA, INSEAD.
