Tati Fontana is an Assistant Professor of Accounting at INSEAD, Europe Campus. She holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration (Accounting) from Boston University (Boston, U.S.A.) and an MBA from IESE Business School (Barcelona, Spain). Before joining academia, Tati worked for several years in capital markets sales and trading at the Latin American subsidiary of Saxo Bank in Montevideo, Uruguay, and in investment banking at Bank of America in London, United Kingdom.
Her research explores the disclosure choices and capital market effects relating to shocks that significantly increase the risk profile of organizations, such as financial misconduct, cross-border regulation, and the sustainability transition.
Outside of work, she is passionate about sailing, horse-riding, paddle tennis, and volunteering.
