Brandon Freiberg is an Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship and Family Enterprise at INSEAD. His research examines how psychology shapes who becomes an entrepreneur, the decisions founders make, and the outcomes of the ventures they build. He uses large-scale data, computational methods, and natural language processing to study founders’ psychological characteristics from their digital footprints.
Prior to entering academia, Brandon worked as a consultant at McKinsey & Company, as an investor, and as the founder of a technology startup.
He holds a PhD from Columbia Business School, an MBA from Harvard Business School, and a bachelor’s degree from Brown University.
