Finance is a domain where context is critical, and human judgment remains essential even with the growing adoption of AI. To collaborate effectively with finance stakeholders, non-finance professionals should build a working understanding of key areas within finance, such as financial statements, budgeting and forecasting, cost structures, and performance metrics, so they can engage in more informed discussions and make better-aligned decisions.

Leaders face a continuous barrage of prescriptions – books, talks and programmes urge them to develop visions, listen to their teams, stay the course in hard times, and communicate. Most leaders know this. Few report that this ‘knowledge’ solves their problems.

INSEAD’s Leadership Excellence through Awareness and Practice (LEAP) programme is designed to help senior leaders bridge this gap.

This six-month journey, including three residential modules with individual and group work, focuses less on telling leaders what to do differently; instead, it enables them to explore how they can be different, to the benefit of themselves, their teams, and their organisations. A central focus of the programme is supporting participants in shifting behaviours in areas that will provide the greatest leverage for their leadership impact.

Professionals today are navigating a rapidly evolving landscape as AI reshapes not only how work is done, but what work is. INSEAD’s Human Capital in the Age of AI programme explores how organisations can adapt by combining human capabilities with algorithmic intelligence to stay competitive.

The programme equips senior leaders with practical frameworks and research to redesign organisations for the augmented workforce—enhancing performance while attracting and retaining top talent.
