Chief Strategic Growth Officer, ENGIE
Yvon is the Chief Strategic Growth Officer of ENGIE in the UAE, the company for which he has joined since 2014 and contributed to developing ENGIE’s sustainability solutions in the AMEA region, including notably the acquisition of Tabreed (TABR.DU), and the launch of energy efficient, solar and storage businesses for ENGIE. Yvon is currently leading the capital projects team in the GCC.
Yvon is serving as a board member of 5 ENGIE entities. Prior to that Yvon was on the board of a listed energy company in Africa (CECZ.LZ) from 2008 to 2011.
Yvon has 20 years of experience in general management, development and M&A for large and medium scale infrastructure and renewable projects, covering origination to financial close, as well as operations.
Previously, Yvon was a commodities trader, and after completing his MBA at INSEAD in 2005 he moved to biotechnology (2006-2007) before moving to the UK to develop renewable energy projects.
