Werner operates a corporate finance boutique in Hong Kong as well as partners with UK and USA based associates advising clients on financing and strategy based on a skin in the game proposition with 80% of the revenue dependent on performance. His sweet spot is private secured debt propositions and private equity, yet he sometimes ends up as de facto interim CFO for clients.
Before arriving in Hong Kong, Werner spent 15 years in Banking in Europe. He steered a bank through the crisis leading Eur 40B funding transactions and set the strategy for mortgage lending from a board position pre and post crisis. Once ABN Amro was stabilized, compliant to new regulation and ready for IPO, Werner embarked on GEMBA 13 at INSEAD in Singapore with the idea to change his career from both a geographical and industry point.
