Prof. Weiru Chen is Professor of China Europe International Business School (CEIBS). He received his Ph.D. in strategic management at Purdue University in the US, and served as strategy professor at INSEAD, France and Singapore. He was Chief Strategy Officer at Alibaba’s Cainiao Network. His research centered at innovation strategy and were published on AMJ, SMJ, OS, RP. He received Teaching Excellence Award at CEIBS, INSEAD, and Purdue University. Prof. Chen published bestseller books on Platform Strategy. In 2017, he was selected as one of the “world management thinkers most likely to shape the future of how organizations are managed and led” in the Thinkers50 Radar List.
