Biography
I am a seasoned exit founder and serial entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in medical technologies, diagnostics, digital health, and pharmaceutical distribution sectors. My career spans multinational corporations and startups at various stages, with a focus on creating scalable, innovative, and sustainable solutions to improve healthcare access, particularly in emerging markets.
At GE Healthcare, my work was prominently featured in The Economist, Bloomberg, and the Harvard Business Review, often cited as examples of "Reverse Innovation" and "Frugal Innovation." My authentic leadership and interpersonal skills enable me to quickly establish rapport and trust across organizational levels, fostering long-term relationships with strategic partners.
I bring extensive experience in building and scaling startups and new businesses, from product development and management to market entry and commercialization across diverse markets. As an engineer by training, I excel at breaking down complex problems and deriving creative, actionable solutions while adeptly managing organizational conflicts.
My global experience, having worked and lived in the US, China, India, Mexico, Brazil, France, Malaysia, Singapore, and Canada, equips me to navigate different organizational layers, cultures, and team dynamics effectively. I am a strong advocate for giving back and serve as a mentor at NUS Enterprise and the DUKE-NUS Healthcare Innovator Programme, and as an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at INSEAD.
