Sylvie Khau, Managing Partner of Mastery Holdings (Single Family Office), Managing Director of L’Excellence Diamond (3rd generation family business)
Sylvie is the Managing Partner of Mastery Holdings, she leads a division of her single family office originating from a 3rd generation gems family business, L’Excellence Diamond. Originally established in Paris, with now a presence in Singapore, the family office invests in VC/PE with a particular focus on sustainability, education, energy transition and healthcare themes, both on funds and direct basis.
With over 11 years of investment banking experience, Sylvie held department head positions in Europe and Asia, specializing in derivatives and structured products cross asset classes.
Sylvie graduated with a double Master’s degree majoring in finance and management from Edhec business school and the University of Strathclyde. Sylvie is also a gemmology expert in diamonds and precious gemstones, inheriting a family passion passed down through 3 generations. She has obtained certification from the GIA Gemmological Institute of America, and frequently speaks at gemmology workshops and gems investment seminars for corporate and financial institutions.
She is fluent in French, English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Teochew.
