I have been practising medicine since 2008. After graduating with honors in 2006 from the faculty of medicine (Cairo University). I completed my Masters and PhD in pediatrics, specialising in pediatric hematology and focused on being a bone marrow transplant consultant. Wanting to improve the quality of healthcare services, I studied for a professional diploma in healthcare quality management. That turned out to be eye-opening and helped me take a leap of faith outside my comfort zone to establish Chefaa . That leap of faith has enabled me to continue learning through valuable opportunities like the Cartier Women's Initiative.
