Corporate Governance specialist, EY Netherlands
Martijn is Corporate Governance specialist for EY in the Netherlands and the EMEIA region. In his role he supports boards, clients and audit teams.
Martijn actively contributes to the development of sustainable corporate governance, the essential foundation for any company and their leaders in this day and age. He leads EY’s board training program in the Netherlands, publishes and speaks regularly on board and governance topics and is an active member of the EY EMEIA Center for Board matters team.
Previously Martijn spent 10 years in EY’s consulting practice in both Australia and the Netherlands focusing on risk management, internal controls, internal audit and corporate governance. His initial role at EY was in the audit practice.
